Hello and welcome to Tainted Normality.

Sorry about the mess as I am rebuilding this site yet again. Yep I got hacked again so I moved to a different hosting provider whom has better security. This is the second time I have been hacked and am truly tired of completely rebuilding this site. This time it will be built using pure html and not WordPress. This will allow me to be able to rebuild the site quickly if I am hacked again. I am wondering if it is Al Gore since he has admitted to inventing the internet or was it the hyperlink, I can't seem to remember. I have moved the comments off of this site to a company that specializes in this type of endeavor.

Well for those of you whom are new to this site my name is Stephen Holt. I am just your average working fool, working towards retirement. This site was built specifically to bounce around ideas to our current issues and challenges to this great country of ours. 200+ years ago a group of like minded individuals gathered together. They discussed and argued until they hammered out what is now known as our United States Constitution and Our Bill of Rights. Everyman had a different idea of how things should work and in the end they found common ground and forged a solution. These men were bright and talented with a common goal to build something new.

Today we face even more diverse challenges and issues they never foresaw however, they gave they right of self government to us "We the People". Today our culture is just as diverse but we seem to have forgotten our common goal of self government and moved into self awareness. Everything thing today seems to focus on the individual and not the country as a whole. If every ones only concern is me, me, and me then the legacy of this great nation is doomed to failure.

Our forefathers foresaw a small government with rules of law and legislated regulations to keep America strong and with a robust economy unlike any other on the planet. For over 200 years it has worked out pretty well. Our recent government though has tried to convert us to socialism and anyone whom took Americanism vs. Communism in school knows all too well that socialism does not work. The largest practitioner of that ideology the former Soviet Union collapsed under socialisms burden. So why would we even consider this route.

On this site we will discuss our problems, possibilities and solutions to this current mess we find ourselves in. I have also posted the text to the actual original US Constitution and the Bill of Rights for you to read and get a better understanding of what our forefathers sought to achieve. I will place ideas on this site to be hammered and shared towards a goal of finding common ground and some viable solutions.

So let the gates of compromise open wide.
